Dear friends of lymphology,
It is a pleasure and an honour for me to invite you to the XXXIII Congress of
the European Group of Lymphology in Prague. The first congress of G.E.L. in Prague
was held in the year 1992. Now we return to Prague after 15 years.
Since this time the members of our society have achieved very good results in lymphology basic research and different kinds of treatment, care and diagnosis of lymphedema. The Congress will give everyone involved in lymphedema research and related problems a chance to present their results, but this is not its only function - it also serves as a platform for the solving and discussion of different or even antagonistic opinions. Nowadays, the communication among lymphologists of different European countries has become more frequent and accessible than 20 years ago, this Congress will be proof of that.
Prague is a very old town with a rich history. I hope that you will enjoy the Congress as well as the many charms of our fascinating city.
